Take part in the Dyslexia/SpLD Professional Development Framework Pilot and enter a prize draw for an iPAD
Background
The Dyslexia‐SpLD Trust is currently looking for professionals working at all levels and in a variety of settings supporting learners with dyslexia/SpLD to take part in an on‐line pilot of the Dyslexia/SpLD Professional Development Framework. The Framework will, for the first time within the field, encompass the levels of knowledge and skills required to fulfil roles across the workforce to support learners with dyslexia/SpLD.

- Provide with an opportunity for you to self‐assess your knowledge and skills against the pilot Framework
- Receive an individualised report outlining your strengths and suggestions for further development with potential sources of support and information
- For professionals with CPD responsibilities for others, clear guidance on the knowledge and skills across the workforce for those supporting learners with dyslexia/SpLD.
- Provide an opportunity for you to feedback and comment on the quality of the pilot tool before it is launched nationally.
Time commitment
The pilot is taking place in the weeks of 17 ‐ 31 January 2011 and would involve:
- Approximately 30‐60 minutes to complete the online tool which can be done in stages
- Ten minutes to complete an online questionnaire to give your feedback
All the information provided will remain confidential and analysed anonymously and the results of the pilot project will be sent out in summary form to the participants who take part in the project.
