Our specialist dyslexia bookshop has all the words you’ll ever need to read!

The Helen Arkell Bookshop

At the heart of dyslexia lies the written word and people are continually amazed how many words have been written about dyslexia – the more so as the science and art of identifying and supporting dyslexia didn’t really kick off until half way through the 20th century.

It’s fair to say that if a book has been written about dyslexia or supporting dyslexics, in any part of the dyslexic spectrum, we either stock it in the HADC bookshop or know how to get it for you. Indeed we supply books on dyslexia to experts and teachers all around the world. We also stock learning support resources.

You are welcome to visit our bookshop at our Frensham Centre during working hours between Monday and Friday. Alternatively our extensive list is covered in the catalogue to which you will find a link on the left hand side of this page. If you can’t find what you’re looking for, or would like any advice at all about which books to buy, please do not hesitate to call and speak to our librarian – in the unusual event that she cannot answer your question, she will know exactly who on the HADC team can.
